Grand Opening

Today marks the first of several Harre Union Grand Opening events - so I'll be over there a couple times today.

The day is open, so I will stay on track and get caught up!

Wed off

I took Wednesday off to go to the dentist and how I'm back working double time finishing a board report and preparing for tonight's BOD conference call.

MLK Jr

For 20 years Valpo has taken MLK Jr day to celebrate and reflect with a day full of activities.

winter

Classes were canceled after 4 pm yesterday which allowed me an early start to a hair-raising drive home.

Forgot yesterday - brain must have been frozen with the sub-freezing temps. Today I will trek to the Harre Union to meet with Stamats - the firm doing Valpo's marketing audit.

Morning Prayer

In spite of the cold, I walked to Chapel to attend the debut of a global worship service at Morning Prayer.

Recent grads

We're in the process of mailing a letter, written by Kristy P, to non-member recent grads which, I think, really sums up reasons for connecting to the Guild.

Connections

Over the past few days I have been taking the time to make some connections that I always think about making, but never take the time to do. It is rewarding and I may need to do it more often!

HAHR'-ree Union

The newsfeed at the right shares the exciting news about the new Harre (HAHR'-ree) Union, but words can't describe how great this space is and will be for VU (Thank you Guild for the $89,000 Nat'l Project donation which funded a stage in the dining area!).

12th Night

It is the last day of Christmas and we will attend Whiting's 12th Night program (where they burn the trees) tonight.
