I just love Facebook. This virtual social network thing makes it so easy to stay in touch with so many random people! The Guild Advisory Team recognized that local groups meeting on a monthly basis wasn't going to last, but didn't exactly know what would replace that. It seems that we have an answer. Although the bugs haven't been worked out and there is so much to learn, the Guild is ahead of the curve by starting to utilize this.

And, virtual connections are helping in other ways. Those of you who goodsearch for the Guild have seen that almost every month we have seen an increase in participation. At our BOD meeting on Sat a board member commented that she looked at other charities of our size and we are very competitive as far as results. And, there is very little that anyone has to "do" to make this happen.

Today I go to chat with the Orientation Assistants about the Guild. Will I be able to get through to them that the Guild is SO MUCH MORE than cakes???
