I'm cake ready

I had a great time at the Cake Kick-off meeting last night. I'm ready to bake cakes! I was disappointed that there weren't more members there. I keep hearing "we want opportunities to connect" but then few people show up. This wasn't just last night - this has been at the majority of the gatherings - nationwide - that I've attended. The host says, "I was hoping more people would show up." The Making Dinner Fun fundraiser hosted on 7-31 was a success. Some Guild members were there, but the majority were non-Guild members who decided to support the Guild. This trend strengthens my confidence that the Guild's new structure will better meet the needs of our future member. Off to buy cake mixes...
